Easter Bread


I got this recipe from my German friend, she said that this bread is typical Easter bread in Germany. We made it together, you can make it whenever you want,  it's worth to try :)

The Dough

Ingredients
(All ingredients shall have room temperature)
  • 500 gr flour
  • 100 gr sugare
  • 1 package yeast (30 gr)
  • 200 ml milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 gr butter
  • Salt
  • 100 gr raisin (put in the water the day before baking)
   Direction

  • Mix everything together with hands until it looks good (not sticky) 
  • After all ingredients are mixed, keep the dough for 2 hours on a warm spot (room temperature) for growing
  • Bake on the oven with 150 degrees C temperatures for 30 - 45 minutes.
Note: 
- Be free to make your own shape
- To make  the dough looks nice, before baking you can apply yolk eggs on the surface and pour some danish sugar on top of it.
